Royal Thai and Sushi on 10648 Fontainebleau Blvd is a gem for Sweetwater and Doral residents. Right from the door you are greeted by a friendly staff willing to accommodate your every food need during your stay. The place has undergone some recent innovations and it looks great! The sushi bar looks inviting while the decor is a nice blend between the traditional and modern.

When a dinner plate is ordered you get an appetizer plate to start you off. Shrimp and egg rolls are served with a sweet and sour sauce along with meat-stuffed wontons. These little bites are a perfect way to tickle your taste buds before the flavor from the entree comes in. When it comes to crispy, tender honey chicken Royal Thai has got you covered. Theirs is panko-breaded and served with a delectable honey garlic sauce that is sure to compete with your already favorite honey chicken. Make sure to give this one a try.

As far as dessert goes the pumpkin custard, when served fresh, could be memorable and favorable. No canned pumpkin in sight, just the real stuff along with a creamy vanilla-like custard. Unfortunately, this time around the custard didn’t seem so fresh as it’s texture had become a little too lumpy. Just make sure to ask if this dessert is freshly made. If not, stick to the fried bananas!
